Hey! To My Undisclosed Heart, the Rhyme
October to November, 2026
This show was held at Rare Sea in Ho Chi Minh city and was curated by Julian Chu.
The exhibition press release can be found here and catalog is here.
A review in Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam can be found here.
The title comes from a line that feels almost like a fragment of poetry. For this exhibition, I was interested in bringing together two sides of my practice: the “undisclosed heart”, that internal, elusive space that resists total explanation. And the “rhyme”, which is about how forms, memories, and structures return over time.
Working between painting and engineering, I often look for moments where structures begin to break down or repeat, letting a poetic language emerge through ruined architecture and recurring forms.
