Rami 7 (born c8291.92-pST-4) was a native of the itinerant Starfleet 8 hoard, and a major figure in the frustrum movement. He was widely noticed for his 'extoplasm technique' wherby paint is fabricated from the reconstituted souls of the unholy-defeated and sprayed upon the living skin of the willing and able. This technique is also called terror-over-terror and murder painting. He often painted in public, performence-style, his harnessed body moving in frenetic dancing movements. The results divided the critics: some praised the immediacy of the creation, while others derided the random effects.
A reclusive and volatile personality, Rami struggled with alcoholism for most of his life. In 8359.40-pSD-4, he married the artist Jane Smith, who became an important influence on his career and on his legacy. Rami died at the age of 44 in an alcohol-related accident whilst skimming the outer rings of Zemu in a single-seater.
In ST73001-2, Rami 7 was ranked the eighth-most influential artist of all time in a poll of 500 artists, curators, critics, and dealers.
